The 46th Annual Gem & Mineral Show is almost here!
Our place on the stage (literally, on the stage in the main hall of the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building) is happening, this coming weekend:
Saturday October 21 / Sunday October 22
Our members will help attendees of the show learn how to pan for gold, and keep what they find!
There will be a gold nugget raffle at our booth for both days as well… plus our portable recirculating sluice will once again be running — getting every speck of micro gold and fascinating dozens of spectators in the process.
The Santa Rosa Mineral and Gem Society has the best show for family fun and kids get to paint rocks, but the best part (at least from our viewpoint) is… seeing that shiny in the pan!

Members, check your to do list and remember to please bring your club badge / ID for the door security staff at the Vets, so they know you are a volunteer. All the signup shifts reminders have gone out to your email. You can also quickly check our calendar on the website for general times (that won’t include your specific shift duty, that is SignUp Genius).
