We will gather to discuss the many great experiences at the SRMGS Mineral & Gem show. Our tables for metal detecting, sluicing and panning tubs gave our members the opportunity to greet the public, educate about the club and share techniques of successful panning. The star of the show was definitely our Gold Panning teaching center, where folks definitely did “Learn how to pan for gold and keep what they find” — It was great to see so many come out to the show, and lots of stories from 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation family members remembering their parents / grandparents taking them on a prospecting trip.

Public is welcome to come to our general meeting! Hoping to see those of you who visited us at the mineral & gem show.

Also we have decisions to make regarding the club holiday potluck in December. Plus other activities in the works.
